Finallie, i gt my hall, but nt mi blk nor rm yet..
i was allocated to hall 13..hmm..dunno if it's gd or bad. It's nt the suite-styled rms wif toliets attached to it (wat we are hoping for), and it's far from my school. In fact, it's just nxt to NIE, hmm..mabe near to North Spine?but it's still quite a dist away from it. haiz..
However, cum to tink of it, hall 13 is nt bad after all.
1. It's new..built in 2001 only, compared to the suite-styled ones in hall one n two which are built in 1950s.
2. Heard the toliets in hall one and two, whereby, a cubicle is shared b/w 4 ppl instead of 2..hmm..at least in hall 13, it's common toliets and more cubicles..more imptly, we do nt have to wash it ourselves.yeah!!
3. Despite the dist, there's still internal shuttle bus, in fact 2 internal shuttle bus routes. However, have to pay 20 cents per trip.hmm..
4. The room in new building are bigger and the beds are bigger too...
5. We can use the washing machine Free Of Charge
6. there is an ironing rm at each level, wif the ironing board and iron provided..hm..or isit same for all halls
7. each of the block, there's TV lounge too..
8. and the pantry seems so clean too..
9. new building will b more clean and less insects, and nt so haunted?hahah
10. there is an amphitheatre too..for social events and gatherings
After all, hall 13 is nt bad, except for the distance..
oh ya, n i heard to cont staying in halls in year 2, dose staying in the halls within the ntu, muz obtain higher pts compared to dose staying near to NIE..
haven heard any of mi frenz in hall 13 yet, so far, heard some in hall one, two and three..haiz..dey seems so far away from me..hope the ppl in hall 13 are nice..
nxt wk, gg dwn to pay the 300 bucks deposit for acceptance for the halls allocated and hopfully, we get a glimpse of wat the rms in hall 13 are lyk..hahha
